1. Definitions

* The Lessor: Share Your Stoke

* The Renter: The natural or legal person who enters into the rental agreement.

* Mountain bike(s): The rented equipment, including bicycle, helmet, and any accessories supplied.

* Rental Agreement: The agreement between the Lessor and the Renter regarding the rental of the Mountain Bike(s).

2. Rental period and reservation

* The Rental Agreement is concluded when the Renter confirms the reservation and the Lessor accepts it.

* The rental period starts at the agreed pick-up time and ends at the agreed return time.

* Timely return is mandatory. If the agreed-upon return time is exceeded without prior consultation, an additional day's rental fee will be charged.

* Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. For later cancellations or no-shows, the Lessor may charge the full rental price.

3. Condition of the Mountain Bike and Use

* The Renter declares upon receipt that the Mountain Bike(s) are in good and undamaged condition. Any defects must be reported immediately upon receipt.

* The Renter must use the Mountain Bike(s) for their intended purpose: cycling on paths and trails. Careless use, such as performing dangerous stunts, is not permitted.

* The Renter is obliged to lock the Mountain Bike(s) when stationary with the lock provided by the Lessor, or to store them in a safe, locked place.

* Repairs to the mountain bike(s) may only be carried out by or on behalf of the Renter. Minor, necessary repairs (e.g., a flat tire) are the Renter's responsibility.

4. Liability and Damages

* Own Risk: The Renter is liable for all damage to, loss, or theft of the Mountain Bike(s) during the rental period, regardless of the cause.

* In case of damage, the Renter will be charged the repair costs, up to a maximum of the current value of the bicycle.

* In the event of theft or total loss of the Mountain Bike(s), the Renter is liable for the current market value of the Mountain Bike(s). In the event of theft, the Renter must always immediately report the theft to the police and inform the Lessor.

* The Lessor is not liable for personal injury, damage to third parties, or property of the Renter resulting from the use of the Mountain Bike(s). Use of the Mountain Bike(s) is entirely at the Renter's own risk.

* The Renter is responsible for complying with all traffic regulations and local laws.

5. Payment

* Prior to the rental, the Tenant must pay the rental price in full

* Any costs for damage, loss or late return must be paid immediately by the Renter.

6. Final provisions

* The Lessor reserves the right to refuse the rental or to terminate the Rental Agreement with immediate effect without giving reasons if the Tenant does not comply with these conditions.

* This Rental Agreement is governed exclusively by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the district where the Lessor is established.
